Welcome to Vintage Wax, we're so glad you're here!  

If you're on this page, then you probably want to know a little bit about us, so who are we? We are a family owned business and a mother daughter team! I am retired from a finance career in oil and gas, while my two teenage daughters are busy high schoolers and tennis players.  Everyone always asks us, how did this begin?  Well, after a career behind a desk in the corporate world, I wanted to do something with my girls, something fun, something creative and something that would teach them real-world skills.  I wanted them to learn how to start a business, how to keep a spreadsheet, how to manage finances, build customer relationships, and grow a business from the ground up.  They needed to learn about book keeping, sales tax, customer relationships, there was so much to teach them and the best way to do it was to put them in the middle of it.

So we brainstormed, as we drove in the car after school to activities, like so many moms do with their kids, we chatted about how we have always been drawn to pieces with history - antiques, vintage treasures, and objects that tell a story.....and how we also have a love for candles, things that smell good and light up a house, so we thought......why don't we combine the two? And we did!  Vintage Wax was born.  Slowly but surely we built our business, together as a team, learning and making mistakes along the way.  We ran into road blocks, we problem solved, we laughed, we cried, but we did it.

We love what we do. We take pride in discovering beautiful antique and vintage vessels from around the world, each with its own history and story to tell.  Nothing we use is new, every piece has been thoughtfully chosen for its beauty and character. Together, we source, restore, hand-pour, and curate each piece before it finds its new home. 

Every Vintage Wax candle is one-of-a-kind, a piece of history thoughtfully reimagined and hand-poured to be enjoyed for years to come. We are honored to share them with you.
