Antique Bleached English Oak and Silver-Plated Biscuit Barrel

A charming English antique biscuit barrel featuring bleached oak wood paired with a polished silver-plated lid, handle, front plaque and a porcelain liner.  Originally used in England during tea service to hold biscuits or cookies, biscuit barrels were often given as wedding gifts in the late 1800s through the mid 1900s. 

Hand poured using our custom apricot wax blend for a clean even burn.  Each piece is completely unique, with a natural patina and character that reflects its history.

Perfect as a statement piece on a coffee table, bar or bookshelf.
